We are two people who believed that memories deserve better than photo frames.
The Roach Store started in May 2026 with one idea β turn the people you love into something permanent. A Mini Me. A tiny, handpainted version of someone that sits on a shelf and makes you smile every single morning.
We know it works. Because our own parents' Mini Mes sit on the shelf right now β Papa's tilak, Mama's red bindi, her salwar kameez, his white shirt and chappals β handpainted by us, detail by detail. Every day they pick them up and laugh at each other.
That's the whole business. Right there.
Why Roach?
Because cockroaches survive everything. Unkillable. Resilient. Adaptable.
That's the energy we bring to everything we build.
Memories fade. Mini Mes don't.
How It Started
One afternoon in Chandni Chowk's Sadar Bazaar, we walked into a paint shop carrying Mini Me figurines of ourselves β trying to figure out paints and product sizes.
The shopkeeper heard our idea and spent the next hour teaching us pricing, painting, and product. At the end, as we were leaving, he called out in a strong voice β
"Next time, bring samples and your visiting card. Leave them with me."
That one hour gave us more than paint advice. It gave us our first believer.
What We're Building
Not just figurines. A memory ecosystem.
Every order arrives in premium black packaging that has a second life. The tin becomes a planter. The seed paper thank you card gets torn and planted inside it. The cardboard becomes fertiliser.
Nothing is wasted. Everything lives on.
Just like the memory it holds.
How We Work
Every figurine starts with your photos. We generate a cartoon preview and send it to your WhatsApp for approval before a single brush touches the figurine. You see it first. Always.
Because this isn't a product we're shipping.

The idea behind The Roach Store was born in Meenu's mind. In her free time, she paints β and that love for art is what gives every figurine its soul. She's the creative compass we always come back to.
